Occidental Taksim

It is our 4 time in this hotel. The staff is exceptional. They upgraded us in Junior Suites. Rooms very spacious and new. Food is delicous. Location very good.

9.5 , The stay is great , the reception guest staff is amazing , they are warm and hospitable throughout my stay even with I had issues with my card. They managed to resolved it in swift manner. The room is clean along with the standard amenities and I have no issues to nick pick out. The hotel is walkable distance to the metro Taksim square station , funicular station and buses in the Taksim tunnel. Very convenient to travel all round Istanbul as a solo traveller. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family whenever they are in Istanbul!

Great Stay at Occidental Taksim Hotel We stayed at the Occidental Taksim Hotel for 6 nights, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Muhammad and Sami at the front desk. Sami went above and beyond to assist us when we had an issue with an Uber driver who was trying to take a longer route. He immediately spoke to the driver, got the ride canceled, and ensured the next Uber driver took the best route. His attention and care really made our stay stress-free. The hotel’s location is excellent, within walking distance of Galata Tower and Kamondo Stairs, and just a short walk to the lively Istiklal Street. It’s also very close to public transport, making it easy to explore Istanbul. One thing we really appreciated was how safe the area felt, even at night. We walked around the city in the evenings, and the presence of police officers everywhere gave us a great sense of security. The breakfast buffet was also quite good, offering a nice variety of options to start the day. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. This version now includes the added emphasis on the safety of the area for night walks.

It’s also conveniently near the airport bus station, which is a huge plus for travelers. The staff at Occidental Taksim are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any request, making the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, ensuring a relaxing experience every time. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul and will definitely stay here again on my next trip!
